Predicting the rise of the beater car or “hooptie ride” April 16, 2008

Does anybody else believe that this economy is going down fast?   Who would have thought a few years ago that gas prices would be this insane.  I don’t know about you, but I can barely afford the “dollar menu” at lunch because I have to feed my truck first.  Sure is a hard lesson to learn after many years of relatively easy money.  Due to the facts about our economy I am making a prediction that beater cars, or “hooptie rides” are going to rise up and save us.

It’s not that they are extremely efficient on gas milage, or even pretty to look at, but the beater car is much easier to do a little bit of work on to keep it running.  The beater car is going to gain appreciation from the general public by it’s ability to be modified slightly so that it is able to get better gas mileage  or fuel economy.

I have a beater truck, and have always had beater vehicles.  Sure they may poop out on me every now and then, but being “The Ace of Trades”© means that I fix whatever I have the capability of fixing myself.  Maybe I will have to learn a few tricks to get it back in working condition, personally I love to learn so this is a little bit easier for me.  In the long run, my vehicles have always made me more money than they ended up costing me.  My most recent vehicle dubbed “Red Thunder” is a ‘92 Ford F-150  that I picked up for $1,100  that started with 105k miles on it.  Maybe all together I have had to put $2,500 into it to keep it running for the last FOUR years and it has 180k miles on it today.

You read that right, so performing a few quick calculations that means I spent about $900 or so for one year to drive about 18,000 miles.  Mind you that I’m not including the cost for gas, but I am including: minor maintenance, tires, plugs, wires, other necessary liquids, brake pads, calipers, etc..  This is an amazing $75 dollars a month in maintenance for my “beater  car”, with no truck payment per month.  So you can see the benefits of being a “do-it-yourself” kind of person, can’t you?

So you might ask yourself “What does this have to do with gas and it’s outrageous price?”

That is what I’m about to explain here.  Recently I have been introduced to an associate who has been a “do-it-yourself” kind of person and has doubled his gas mileage in his vehicle to a whopping 61 mpg, which is not completely a “beater car” but a newer ‘99 Toyota Corolla.  While I write this post, I am in the process of putting together the info I have learned with the different parts that I need to transform my “beater car” into a gas sipping, environment friendly, smog reducing, Secret Agent in the “War on Fuel” that I am silently putting into action.

This “War on Fuel” needs many recruits from all areas of the country to get started.  You can be a recruit in our army of savvy individuals who care about the mother we all share, Mother Earth.  You do not need to have great strength, you do not need to be of any certain age group, you do not need to possess any special skills nor do you need to do anything illegal to be a member of my army.  You MUST however have the ability to use a computer to help me get as many recruits as possible.  I have taken the time to create a page with all of the info and tools that we need to swiftly get the word out to as many individuals as possible, to create a giant army of recruits to join our Stealth “War on Fuel”.

To become a member in the army of concerned individuals waging a Stealth “War on Fuel” I’m calling on you to visit the following link:        http://50mpg.mnbiznet.net and simply get your name on my list, then you must use the Tell a Friend link to get the word out to as many people as you can, as FAST as you possibly can.   There is NO need to purchase anything and I refuse to sell your email addresses due to the fact that I despise SPAM, and will never SPAM you or any future recruit.

We need the largest group of like minded people ever amassed to have the common goal of helping our Mother Earth, by :

Boosting performance while preventing smog.

You’ll discover how to generate free energy in your “beater car” or truck.

You will feel better about reducing the nations dependence on foreign oil, by doing your part in preventing cataclysmic catastrophe for our precious Mother Earth.

I COMMAND YOU to go here swiftly and help change the world.    http://50mpg.mnbiznet.net

Reaping Adsense Dollars November 17, 2006

Like anything else, you’ll get out of Google Adsense what you put into it. The following optimization tips can help you grow your Google Adsense dollars:

Write interesting content and write every day.

Have more than one site. The more sites you have, the more ads have the potential
to get clicked.

Set up channels and monitor your statistics across all sites. If one site is performing
poorly, consider changing the content or the ad layout. Experiment!

Change the ad layout and notice which layout works the best for you. There are
many different layout options and there’s no way you can know going in which
one will perform the best.

If you’re blogging, writingup.com has a list of profitable topics. They state that
you don’t have to write on those topics but you might give it a try or at least plug
some of them in to the search engines.

Google different key words and phrases and notice how much and what kinds of content and ads you see.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions.

Adsense is really making a huge impact on the affiliate marketing industry  nowadays. Because of this, weak affiliate merchants have the tendency to die faster than ever and ad networks will be going to lose their customers quickly.
If you are in a losing rather than winning in the affiliate program you are currently into, maybe it is about time to consider going into the Adsense marketing and start earning some real cash.

Google is readily providing well written and highly relevant ads that are closely chosen to match the content on your pages. You do not have to look for them yourselves as the search engine will be the doing the searching for you from other people’s source.

You do not have to spend time in choosing different kind of ads for different pages. And no codes to mess around for different affiliate programs.

You will be able to concentrate on providing good and quality content, as the search engines will be the ones finding the best ads in which to put your pages on.

You are still allowed to add Adsense ads even if you already have affiliate links on your site. It is prohibited, however, to imitate the look and feel of the Google ads for your affiliate links.

You can filter up to 200 URLs. That gives you a chance to block ads for the sites that do not meet your guidelines. You can also block competitors. Though it is unavoidable that Adsense may be competing for some space on web sites that all other revenues are sharing.

Owners of small sites are allowed to plug a bit of a code into their sites and instantly have relevant text ads that appeal to your visitors appear instantly into your pages. If you own many sites, you only need to apply once. It makes up for having to apply to many affiliate programs.

The only way to know how much you are already earning is to try and see. If you want out, all you have to do is remove the code from your site.

Secrets of MLM- Multi level marketing and Network Marketing. November 7, 2006

This article will attempt to explain a few very simple secrets
about MLM.  As well as the potential to change your life by using them.

MLM or multi-level marketing is really a partnership.  You go into
business with someone that has the same interests and goals you
have.   You make a commitment to each other.  You work with the
same people.  Working multi-level marketing correctly not only
makes success easier, it eliminates many problems.  Building
partnerships with quality individuals is key to longevity in MLM.

The hardest thing is to find the person you want to work with
(your sponsor).  You want someone who is willing to work and
assist you when needed.  You should join programs under the same
person  all the time.  This makes for a solid downline.   If
your sponsor isn’t interested in a particular program, contact
his sponsor.  By doing this, you will strengthen you group.

Many people complain about others stealing their people.  They
seem to think that just because they signed someone up once,
they should always have them.  If someone gives their downline
the help and assistance they should, there would be no need for
them to worry about someone stealing them away.  They should
want to continue with you because they know you will help them.
Why should someone stick with you  if all you do is collected
commissions from them?  Can you really blame them for not
following you into other programs?

Take a look at the other side of the coin.  Having the right
people in your downline is just as important as having the right
sponsor.  If someone sponsored you into a program and helped
you, don’t expect them to sign you in another program if you
haven’t tried to do anything on you own.  Granted, they make
money for those they sponsor for you, but why should they make
you money if you don’t do anything?

Mailing out hundreds of brochures may get you several people in
your downline.  This may look good on a printout, but what about
on a commission check?  Would you rather have a printout a foot
long with a small check – or a small printout with a large check?

Be particular in whom you recruit.  Let them know what you expect
from them and what they can expect from you.  Level with them
completely about the program you are trying to get them into.
Having 2 or 3 good people will make you more money than having
10 or 12 deadbeats.
Don’t join every program that comes along.  Find one you like
and work it.  It takes time to build a solid downline.  Help
your downline and have them  do the same.  This way everybody
will make money.  You can’t expect to keep your downline if you
leave them stranded when you get into profit.

You have to help them get in profit too.  They will be more apt
to follow you in other programs this way.

Be careful what you promise people.  Remember, nothing is
guaranteed.  Be as honest as you can.  Don’t tell someone you’ll
do something if you can’t.  Offer your help, but guarantee
nothing.  No matter how good something might seem, it might not
work.  If you mislead people, how long do you expect to keep
them?
Doing things this way may take a little longer, but look at the
advantages!

You have a solid downline.

You don’t have to race to the phone or mailbox to be first to
contact someone.
Because you are working with the same people, you will get to
know them.

You will have a steady income.  You don’t have to worry about
finding new “schemes” and new “victims of MLM” every few months.

Actually, four things are needed to be successful in MLM.
A good product, a good marketing structure, a good sponsor and a
strong downline.

The time and money spent to find these four
things is well worth it.
Don’t settle for anything less.  To do
so will only restrict the goals you can achieve.

Once you have found these four things, it’s easy.  All you have
to do is keep in touch with your 5 or 6 people.  If everyone
does this, no one will fail.  Everybody will be a success.
This “MLM training material” can be used by everyone involved
in any program selling any product advertising in any medium.
Very powerful stuff indeed!

Want your own website? Do you have the time, money & experience? November 7, 2006

Website Or No Website…That’s The Question
Do you want to make money through the Internet but you don’t have enough experience or capital to start your own online business?  You don’t have to worry, for a lot of online marketing options exist for you to start with.  One of these options, and possibly the best, is affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing provides first time online marketers like you the chance to market something online even without having your own product to sell.  All you have to do is to sign up with an affiliate marketing program, which is usually owned by an online merchant or retailer, and start picking the products you want to promote.  As an affiliate, you are paid by the merchant for your services on a commission basis, that is whenever you have directed a visitor to the merchant’s site and the visitor actually buys something.

Becoming an affiliate in an affiliate marketing program is often quick and easy, and for most affiliate programs, signing up is also free.  But despite these and all the benefits being promised by affiliate programs, many people are still hesitant to get into affiliate marketing.  One of the reasons why a lot of people remain hesitant is the lack of a website to start marketing his affiliate products with.  This now leads us to the question of whether a website is required or necessary in affiliate marketing or not.

http://infoidiot.info/make-money/portal.html     is a perfect example of this in action.  Every one of these products were created by someone else and have been selling very well.

Many people say that one can do affiliate marketing even without a website to start with.  Actually, one can really start promoting and marketing his affiliate products even without a website; and there exist a lot of ways on how this can be done.  In fact, many affiliate marketing strategies that leads to success can exist without actually needing a website.  Among these strategies are email marketing, offline promotions, writing e-books, writing ezines and engaging in online discussions like forums, chats, message boards and others.

With all these strategies, it may appear that one really doesn’t need to have a website to start marketing his affiliate products and promoting his affiliate programs.  Well, starting in an affiliate program without a website may be easy, but getting successful in affiliate marketing without a website is another thing.  While one can actually gain enormous success in affiliate marketing even without a website, it is a rare instance that “newbies” like you can reach the same levels of success.

Having a website is not really a pre-requisite in entering into an affiliate program, unless otherwise the program owner would require you to have one.  But while this is so, I would still recommend that you have for yourself a website, if not now, then maybe at a later time.  Having a website creates a lot of advantages in affiliate marketing.  For one, it provides you a place where you can creatively promote not only one of your affiliate products but all of your affiliate products.  With a website, you can also advertise your affiliate products to a wider market.

Again, having a website is not a requirement in affiliate marketing.  But with the advantages that a website can provide, I’d rather have one for myself and make affiliate marketing a lot easier for me.

Developing websites can be daunting, but with the right help you can have yours at a reasonable price.  I am willing to assist you every step of the way.   The same goes if you need help finding and marketing other peoples products to start your earning process.

Another great example of this in action is located here:    http://itsmyfranchise.com/ahrlot650/shop.htm    and I didn’t write one bit of code for this page, nor do I need to optimize this page with anything because it already IS optimized for me.  None of the products were created by me so I don’t have to worry about support calls for any of these products.  (all covered by the owners/creators of the product)

More programs = more confusion November 6, 2006

So Many Affiliate Programs! How Do I Choose just one?

Ask questions first before you join an affiliate program. Do a little research about the choices of program that you intend to join into. Get some answers because they will be the deciding point of what you will be achieving later on.

http://ahrenlotze.com/opportunities.html

Will it cost you anything to join? Most affiliate programs being offered today are absolutely free of charge. So why settle for those that charge you some dollars before joining.

When do they issue the commission checks? Every program is different. Some issue their checks once a month, every quarter, etc. Select the one that is suited to your payment time choice. Many affiliate programs are setting a minimum earned commission amount that an affiliate must meet or exceed in order for their checks to be issued.

What is the hit per sale ratio? This is the average number of hits to a banner or text link it takes to generate a sale based on all affiliate statistics. This factor is extremely important because this will tell you how much traffic you must generate before you can earn a commission from the sale.

How are referrals from an affiliate’s site tracked and for how long do they remain in the system? You need to be confident on the program enough to track those people you refer from your site. This is the only way that you can credit for a sale. The period of time that those people stay in the system is also important. This is because some visitors do not buy initially but may want to return later to make the purchase. Know if you will still get credit for the sale if it is done some months from a certain day.

What are the kinds of affiliate stats available? Your choice of affiliate program should be capable of offering detailed stats. They should be available online anytime you decide to check them out. Constantly checking your individual stats is important to know how many impressions, hits and sales are already generated from your site. Impressions are the number of times the banner or text link was viewed by a visitor of your site. A hit is the one clicking on the banner or text links.

Does the affiliate program also pay for the hits and impressions besides the commissions on sales? It is important that impressions and hits are also paid, as this will add to the earnings you get from the sales commission. This is especially important if the program you are in offers low sales to be able to hit ratio.

Who is the online retailer? Find out whom you are doing business with to know if it is really a solid company. Know the products they are selling and the average amount they are achieving. The more you know about the retailer offering you the affiliate program, the easier it will be for you to know if that program is really for you and your site.

http://ahrenlotze.com/opportunities.html

Is the affiliate a one tier or two tier program? A single tier program pays you only for the business you yourself have generated. A two tier program pays you for the business, plus it also pays you a commission on the on the sales generated by any affiliate you sponsor in your program. Some two-tier programs are even paying small fees on each new affiliate you sponsor. More like a recruitment fee.

Lastly, what is the amount of commission paid? 5% – 20% is the commission paid by most programs. .01% – .05% is the amount paid for each hit. If you find a program that also pays for impressions, the amount paid is not much at all. As you can see from the figures, you will now understand why the average sales amount and hit to sale ratio is important.

These are just some of the questions that needed answering first before you enter into an affiliate program. You should be familiar with the many important aspects that your chosen program should have before incorporating them into your website. Try to ask your affiliate program choices these questions. These can help you select the right program for you site from among the many available.

I have many programs available for all levels of marketer.  Programs hand picked for longevity.  If you are serious about making money and building relationships, you will succeed.  Go here:
